James Gang Kennels is a small breeding facility located in South East Nebraska. We have continually utilized the absolute best genetics from the United States, United Kingdom and most recently France. Having moved from Wisconsin to Nebraska in the early 1980’s I soon learned of the wonderful world of upland game hunting. While searching for my first gundog I literally stumbled on a fine litter of Field Bred English Springer Spaniels of direct UK genetics. That first dog Stacey’s Inkwell “Ink” (pictured top left) was the foundation of our breeding program, not to mention the countless hunting excursions over the span of 14 plus years. “Ink” was a tenacious bird finder that would destroy cover. He was equally proficient in the duck blind as well. Although Ink is now resting in our back yard near the pond that he loved to swim and fetch things, his genetics live on as we have place his offspring with dozens of families throughout the US and Canada. Most recently we have gone back to the same kennel in the UK, Windmillwood Kennels and utilized Alan Qwynne to be the source of locating a pair of exceptional gundogs that are not meant as a replacement for our past dogs, but as an enhancement to the program we have had in place. We ask that you please contact us to inquire about the wonderful things that a Field Bred English Springer Spaniel can offer you and your family whether it be as a field trial candidate, a AKC Hunt Test competitor or a personal gundog and family pet. We love our dogs and love to talk about them, so please give us a call or email. Dan and Julie James
